Up for your consideration is a made-to-order needle felted “The Lorax” inspired truffula tree. The tree is approximately 9 inches tall. It is “potted” in a hand painted wooden flower pot. It is glued to a wooden disc base that is painted. The top of the truffula tree is merino wool over a romney core and it lightly felted to give it a halo effect. The “grass” in the flower pot is green merino wool. The trunk of the tree is polymer clay, textured, and with a wire core to make it durable. They can be bent randomly to emulate tree growth (they are not fully straight or smooth).
This item is a decoration and it not intended for small children.
