This listing is for one custom, made to order, needle felted guinea pig & hand painted box. The guinea pig is firmly felted with a core of Romney wool and covered with a soft wool blend (usually alpaca, angora, and / or merino, depending on the color selection). The guinea pig has black glass eyes that are glued in place. Guinea pigs are approximately 2 inches long, 1 inch high and 1 inch wide. Please note that the guinea does have small parts and is not recommended for very small children.
The hand painted box is the guinea pig's “home” and can be painted in a solid color or with chalk paint in green or black.
We recently sold this combination of guinea pig & hand painted chalk box at a craft show and kids loved them! If you are looking for a unique gift for an older child, this would be it. They especially love decorating the box with the name of their new guinea pig 🙂
For this custom entry, please specify the following when you purchase:
– Guinea pig color selection. If you have a photo of a guinea pig you would like us to emulate the colors on, please send it to me.
– The color of the wooden box “home”. I have most colors available, including metallic and pearl colors. I can add glitter as well, just let me know what you are looking for. If you would like us to paint it with chalk paint, please specify green or black only.
Guinea pigs and the boxes will take us 3 days to complete and we will ship the next business day after the completion of the items. Shipping usually takes 3-7 days.
