Tall upright clump long green leaves braching stems. Grows about 3' to 4 feet. Prefers Full Sun, a light shaded area will be ok. Prefers constant moisture. If you have a pond or swamp area it would be right at home You can also mulch around the plant to hold in moisture.
 It flowers mid to late summer with tiny clusters of pink.It has a delightful vanilla fragrance.. Butterflys love it. Certain butterflies lay there eggs on it and the larvae use for food.
