The appreciation of the water is something that can be enjoyed world wide but for me it's through the great lakes of Michigan where I live. Experiencing nature refreshes my body and calms my mind. I receive a glimpse of the eternal in the great expanse. Painting is sometimes a form of praise, to adore God's creation and thank Him for the pleasures of life.
