Shades of green sea glass, in kelly green, forest, sea foam, olive and forest are wire wrapped to a sterling silver chain. In between are fresh water pearls in olive, sea foam and a light spruce green. To add a bit of sparkle I’ve added Swarovski crystals in a two shades of pale green, peridot and chrysolite. This would be perfect with a spring outfit!
The bracelet measures about 6 1/4 inches (16cm) in length. This will fit a smaller to aver size wrist. Need it a bit bigger? I would be happy to make an extension for it! The closure is a sturdy, secure sterling silver lobster clasp. If you prefer an easier to close toggle style clasp I can make that switch for you.
My beach glass designs use only real natural beach or sea glass. Real beach glass means that the glass has been unchanged from the way it was found. Natural beach glass comes from old bottles, jars and other glass items that have been discarded in oceans and lakes and was tumbled naturally by waves and sand over many years to form the smooth and frosty look of the glass. It can take many decades for beach glass to be formed. The only change to the glass pieces may be the holes drilled into them, otherwise they are just the way they have been found on the shore. White pieces started as common clear glass, while the less common sea foam green pieces were most likely discarded soda bottles. Brown or amber glass usually started as beer or medicine bottles.
My glass comes from various beaches including the Great Lakes, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.
