This VERY HIGH-END upholstery fabric combined with a quilted lining makes for one of the sturdiest tote bags you'll find. I've interfaced every piece of fabric, including the lining, for extreme stability. All seams are double and triple stitched and zig zagged for strength and longevity. The bag is comfortable to carry with or without your coat on. And each strap is padded with felt for added comfort.
