I love this beautiful cowrie necklace and it was really fun to make. The Old German glass donuts that accent this necklace are trade beads and collectables. They are also known as dogon or Dutch glass beads and are cobalt blue and very beautiful. I have had them for many years and decided to incorporate them into my cowrie necklaces. The length of the cowrie and glass part of necklace is 14 inches long with the total length of necklace at 36 inches long. The adjustable tie is adorned with brown horn beads. I don't expect to create another cowrie shell necklace using my German glass beads unless requested. Purchase this one today! It looks much prettier in person.
