The 'Medieval Set' includes two charming, sweet smiling 'ladies in waiting' (or princesses) and two brave knights in shinning chain-mail armor, wielding their swords in defense of the throne! This set of four has been hand drawn by our talented young artist in a simple, child friendly way, while still remaining detailed and interesting!
Each figurine measures between 7″ and 6″ inches tall. They are original characters, hand drawn, sanded, cut out and hand painted on both sides with A.P. certified non-toxic, child friendly, paint. Finally, the dolls are finished off with a warm soft beeswax/oil finish, made from our own bees! 🙂
These toys were developed when our younger siblings wanted to get their hands on some of our 'artist sister's' original artwork to play with! We've owned a whole box of these for many years, they've held up great and still receive lots of love and attention! 🙂 We call them “Woodles”
Our younger siblings just adore this style of drawing! As soon as they could, they got their hands on older sister's patterns, made copies and immediately started making their own! With the same patterns for the ones shown, we can reproduce these delightful characters for you in any quantity/colors! (Looks will vary slightly–this is all done by hand!)
