ABOUT INGREDIENTS:

I make my Cold Process Soap using Extra Virgin Olive Oil (imported from Italy). This oil is extracted using the cold press method where no chemicals are used in the extraction of the oil. How the oils are extracted are just as important as the ingredients. Many soapmakers use Olive Oil (pomace) to help keep down their costs. Pomace oil is extracted through a chemical process. Pomace oil will never be used by Aroma Scents LLC. My Shea Butter is from Burkina Faso where only women from the villages can harvest the shea nuts. This brings income to the villages. If Palm oil is ever used, it will always come from a sustainable producer, a member of the RSPO roundtable, that supports sustainable and ethical ways to harvest palm oil. The herbs I use come from my family's Italian garden and are organic. No chemicals or fertilizers are used in our garden. My essential oils are extracted using only steam so they remain 100% pure.
