Lapworking is a type of glasswork where a torch is used to melt glass rods. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by shaping wih tools and hand movements. After each bead is created and cooled they are then placed in a kiln and heated to harden each bead and remove air bubbles, a process called annealing.
