Dark annealed steel wire is a very dark grey with a very subtle copper undertone in just the right lighting. Each piece is spray sealed to reduce aging.
** Please note. This piece is made from STEEL WIRE. Steel wire, as with any other wire, will patina (age) over time. If soaked in water for long periods of time and never cleaned or polished, steel will rust. This is a natural aging process. Pendants are spray sealed to reduce this aging process and should be handled as you would any delicate art jewelry – with care. (Don't wear it in the shower/pool/lake, pat dry if gets wet, store in a dry place with low humidity.) If you feel the need to reseal it at any time for any reason, be sure it is cleaned by rubbing gently with a dry cloth, it can then be spray sealed with a matte lacquer or waxed with metal polish.
