The axe head is made from hardwood and it's sunk into a lightweight pine handle that has been lightly burned black. Even the raised diagonal edges on the handle are just like Gimli's from the movie! I'm telling you, my brother's are toy weapon replica fanatics and they don't miss a single detail!
Measures approx. 20″ from the tip of the axe to the bottom of the handle. Handle (without axe tip) is 16.5″ and the axe head is 5″ across. Finished with our own beeswax and natural oliv oil.
