Spider-Man is completely natural, being stitched in soft Peruvian wool and stuffed with clean, fluffy wool from our very own flock of sheep! 🙂
Wool is the perfect choice for toys, because it warms up against the body heat of the child's little hands and is slightly heavier, making the toy feel all the more life like. I've already noticed my little sister seems to really prefer these toys over previous polyester-filled ones that I've made her. Wool also repels dust and mites and is very healthy, clean and natural feeling; soft and warm.
Perfect for rough play, and soft and warm enough for nap time!
Hand wash with care! Swish in warm soapy water, then in warm rinse water. Gently press out the water. Lay flat to dry.

This toy almost didn't make it to the shelf after my 8yr. old brother posed for the pictures for me! He turned his big, sweet blue eyes on me with a little whine and said: “Mary, how come you keep making all these really cool toys for the shop and none for us?” I could have answered heartlessly, “because your closet is already jammed full of neat handmade toys,” but instead I said weakly, “Maybe for your birthday or Christmas.” “Okay,” he answered, giving Spidey a few more flips and spins around the room. “But now you know what I want for Christmas!” he playfully demanded.
